PCG Architect Manager Company: Intel Corporation Location: Hillsboro, OR Description: As part of the Platform Components Group (PCG) within the Server Platforms Group (SPG) of DEG, the PCG Architecture team is a group of server ingredient architects responsible for driving component-level product innovation and delivering architectural specifications and definitions to help ensure a successful PCG product roadmap and business. As manager of this team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Helping set strategic product direction, and conceiving and defining profitable PCG products Successful collaboration with product planning and architecture partners (DAP, CTG) in a highly-matrixed, collaborative environment Ensuring delivery of component architecture specifications to committed program milestones Working with design teams in definition phase to incorporate design feasibility considerations into architectural directions Working with design teams throughout execution phases to ensure implementation adherence to architecture specifications Working with execution teams to resolve pre and post-Si architecture issues and assist design validation and debug Developing resource plans and directing activities to meet schedules, standards, and cost Building and managing a strong architecture team to drive business growth and industry technical leadership Providing guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues Cultivating and reinforcing appropriate group values, norms and behaviors Cultivating an environment of technical innovation
