Safety Supervisor - Seattle, WA Company: Code Red Safety Location: Seattle, WA Description: Code Red Safety is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisors with a background in tunnel / underground safety for an immediate opening in the Seattle, WA area. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Safety Manager, Industrial Safety Supervisor, or Industrial Hygienist with experience in environments such as Utility Power Plants, Refineries, Concrete / Cement, or Steel Mills with additional experience in mines / tunnels. Candidates must possess a minimum OSHA 30 certification as well as MSHA training / certification. OSHA 500, Certified Safety Professional certification, COSS and experience considered a strong plus. Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) or Industrial Hygiene is also a strong positive but not required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office also strongly recommended.Job Description: Candidate must have knowledge of safety and health procedures, CPR / first aid methods, and familiarity with OSHA Construction Safety Standards. Candidate must have a good analytical, human relations, communication, and training skills. Responsibilities include promoting a safe and healthy work environment for employees, subcontractors, and vendors. As the Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for evaluating and enforcing site safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
