Business Development Director (Construction Sales) Company: Company Confidential Location: Cleveland, OH Description:  Innovative and dynamic commercial construction company serving Northeast Ohio and surrounding states is searching for a Business Development Director to join our growing team of construction professionals.  The Business Development Director will work collaboratively with the sales and marketing team to identify and secure new business opportunities that result in increased market share and revenue while maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients.   Requirements: The ideal candidate will be a known and trusted partner with clients and an integral member of the internal project team. A proven business development track record and a strong network of contacts within the commercial construction industry are essential. Successful candidates will understand the value of maintaining ongoing client relationships after project start-up.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in increasing levels of responsibility with proven success in business development, marketing and / or construction are required.  A strong sales background, particularly in construction, design / build, construction management, or program management is essential. This candidate must be an excellent communicator with the ability to produce highly professional proposals and presentations, maintain appropriate professional memberships and participate in organizations and events. Some overnight travel may be required.
