Construction HSE (Safety) Manager & Quantity Surveyor -

Company Name: GS Engineering & Construction Corp Industry Type: Engineering, Procrument , Construction, Commissioning 3 Available Positions * Please be aware that HSE(Safety) Manager (Korea) position requires fluency in Korean & English Position #1: HSE(Safety) Manager (Korea) Job Detail: (1) Establish and ensure implementation of the HSE Management System on the all phases (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning up to Mechanical Completion) of the project. (2) To establish Project HSE Plan including HSE Policy (based on Corp. QHSE Policy) and continually improve it. (3) Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an overall Project HSE Management Plan based on Companies IMS Management standards and Project requirements. (4) Advise on setting up the improvement guidelines for Project HSE Management System to project employees. Ensure improvements are implemented and results are feedback to employees. (5) Establish Project HSE audit program & schedule and perform the Project HSE Audit within the project organization in cooperation with Corporate QHSE Team. (6) Report the Project HSE Audit Results to Corporate QHSE Team Leader and Project Manager. (7) Monitor Project HSE System activities such as Engineering HSE and Field HSE activities based on Companies Management system and Project requirements. (8) Coordinate with Engineering HSE Engineer and manage Construction HSE staff. (9) Coordinate and communicate with Client on Project HSE issues. (10) Produce and develop the Project HSE Training Plan. Ensure implementation of the plan. Ensure that training records are maintained. (11) Ensure that HSE is applied in line with the Project HSE Design Criteria to the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Mechanical Completion phases of the Project. (12) Ensure that the Project meets international standards. Requirements - Having experience as a HSE Manager in construction Projects Min. 15 years with advanced world wide prominent construction company - Experience working with USA, UK HSE systems - Experience of Hazards & Effects Management Assessment - Experience of managing HSE on Civil, High Rise Building and Plant project * Who have experience with world wide prominent construction co. as a Safety(HSE) Manager. * Required Minimum 2 years experience at a construction project in the Middle East countries. Position #2: HSE(Safety) Manager (Overseas) Job Detail & Requirements are same as above Position #3: Quantity Surveyor (1) Be responsible to the Project Control Manager for contract review based on legal point of view and assist Project Manager in the process of contract negotiation if necessary. (2) Initiate and jointly review with proposal. (3) Participate in conference of relative the proposal and contract with client and / or subcontractors. (4) Be responsible to the Project Control Manager for contract review based on Bill of Quantities, contract condition and specification (5) Be responsible for measuring and valuating of construction activities in relation to contract at Home Office / Site Office, including financial & economic aspect of construction, if necessary. (6) File required reports and obtain approvals or permits from government or other statutory bodies under the full support of Project Control Manager in the process of proposal and contracting. (7) Be responsible for the solution of conflict between the discipline superintendents and sub-contractors occurring during the interfacing stages. (8) Establish, prepare and maintain the Cost Engineering plan / Procdure. (9) Review and evaluate the invoices of vendor and / or subcontractors during in-process stage. (10) Prepare the cost report in contradiction to the budget. (11) Handle erection all risk insurance, export insurance, workmen's compensation insurance, employer's liability insurance, etc. (12) Contact and employ an outside lawyer subject to project Requirements - Having experience as a Project Management and Control Manager in construction Projects Min. 15 years with advanced world wide prominent company - Experience working with USA, UK HSE systems - Experience of Oil & Gas Plant Project - Native in English If you meet those requirements, please contact Ken via e-mail with your resume / cv Thank you
