ENR recently ranked Hill as the #11 largest CM firm in the US. We are seeking a Vice President, Regional Manager for a start up office in Denver, CO region. This individual will report to the President, US Projects Group. The Regional Manager will be responsible for program and construction management projects with both public and private clients. Projects include but are not limited to transit (rail, airport, port, road and bridge, bus, and tunnel), water facilities, GSA, education (universities, colleges, and K-12 schools), libraries, hospitals, government (DOE, DOD, and COE), correctional facilities, environmental remediation, and industrial facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and direct the profitability of all operations including strategic planning and department budgets. Carry out Hill’s goals for increasing and encouraging client connections. Provide project oversight to ensure excellent service to our clients. Ensure the region RFP’s RFQ’s and SOQ’s represent Hills BD and marketing principles and objectives. Effectively communicates with the President and Finance Department on financial and economic performance indicators and lead the business development efforts. Works with the Contracts manager to review and verify all Regional contracts. Direct, observe, and reports on regional business procedures. Guide, authorize, and implement the major plans and procedures consistent with the goals of the company. Develop and build relationships and networks with industry professionals. Develop client contact matrix to monitor overall project satisfaction. Manage, develop, and strengthen the present professional staff. Meet with staff and conduct annual performance appraisals. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of fifteen years experience in the construction management industry including experience with the Denver, CO clients Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University Graduate degree is a PLUS! Must have hands-on experience managing a major business unit. Proven track record resulting in major client development and WINS. Strong proven problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
