Description:
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION DIVISION NYC Dept. of Sanitation Engineering Bureau seeks licensed (NY or reciprocal state) Professional Engineer or registered Architect with extensive construction management and managerial experience. Must have prior experience directing, planning and overseeing new construction as well as the renovation of highly specialized / complex multi-story facilities. Requires detailed knowledge of, and the ability to review: construction bid documents; specifications; code compliance; scopes of work. Requires experience managing personnel and consultants; field operations; budgets / change orders; and construction schedules. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to resolve / diffuse field issues. NYS drivers license required.
