CAD Designer -

Location: Greensboro, NC

Description:
Pureflow, Inc. is a successful and growing company specializing in high purity water systems. We design, build, install, and maintain high purity water equipment for industrial applications in NC, SC, GA, VA, TN, and FL. We are seeking a CAD Designer whose job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following for water purification and treatment systems and equipment: Job Responsibilities: ? Prepare flow diagrams and P&IDs ? Prepare equipment layout and utility connection drawings for proposed installation at customer site, taking onsite measurements, as necessary ? Prepare skid frame, skid assembly, and interconnecting piping drawings ? Maintain customer CAD files in an organized manner, using proper version control ? Prepare Bills of Materials from fabrication drawings. Enter parts and BOMs in the database ? Issue purchase requisitions for new equipment and parts for projects to the purchasing agent ? Evaluate the assembly of equipment to ensure compliance with design drawings / specifications ? Revise drawings during a project, as required, and issue new copies to customer for review and approval, as necessary ? Prepare turnover packages including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, spare parts lists, and maintenance schedules ? Assist in estimating new projects ? Provide other project assistance, as requested Qualifications: ? 3 or more years of drafting and design experience ? Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience ? Proficient with Solid Works and AutoCAD ? Design mindset and strong mechanical aptitude ? Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects ? Working knowledge of electrical / controls preferred ?
