CONSTRUCTION SAFETY SUPERVISOR 13

Location: Lansing, MI

Description:
This position is responsible for supervision of Construction Safety Inspectors E11 and 12. Work is performed under general supervision and requires thorough knowledge of the MIOSHA safety standards. A knowledge of supervisory techniques and personnel policies and procedures is necessary. Supervisors review the work of inspectors to ensure conformance with established guidelines, methods, procedures, techniques and policies. Supervisors also perform evaluations, counseling, training of subordinates, and training of new inspectors. Supervisors also process first appeals.
