Job Title: Site Supervisor Company: The Tatitlek Corporation Location: Emmitsburg, MD Description: SUMMARY The Site Supervisor (SS) is the senior on-site Tatitlek Management Inc.(TMI) official; the SS is responsible for the overall success of the project, and is designated Point of Contact for local customer representatives. The SS takes direction from, reports to and advises the corporate General Manager (GM) or other designated supervisor. The SS plans, coordinates, and directs/supervises personnel, subcontractors, and vendors -- ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget, and to published specifications. He/she establishes or confirms the construction schedule and manages the budget, including the monitoring and controlling of subcontractor and vendor costs. The SS manages contractual requirements, including customer billings, safety inspections and enforcement, and the submission of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports to Corporate and to the customer. He/she maintains communications and relationships with the customer, architects, subcontractors, and other vendors. In addition, the Site Supervisor serves as the Project’s senior Safety Manager. As senior Safety Manager (SM), the Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, implementation and supervision of the project’s Safety Plans. He/she insures the Safety Plan’s compliance with federal and state OSHA mandates, as well as with other applicable statutes and regulations, and verifies that all work is performed in compliance with the Safety Plan. The SM performs frequent inspections to confirm compliance with corporate and regulatory Safety standards. Participates in Preparatory Meetings, prepares daily Safety reports (as required), and implements on-site safety procedures for each definable feature of work.
