This position will perform the following duties: Direct activities of workers concerned with construction of buildings and other construction projects. Study specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction, based on knowledge of available tools and equipment and various building methods. Assemble members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project. Order procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. Confer with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within work force.
