Architect

Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Supervisor
On site, supervisors and assistant supervisors assist with daily activities. They make decisions to ensure quality is optimized and budgets are maintained. Additionally, they ensure all procedures are properly followed.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
These administrative professionals must have a thorough knowledge of all processes in the construction field. They focus on short and long term goals in order to increase profits. They also direct all companies’ policies and implement realistic and competitive objectives.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Estimator

Field Engineer
Responsible for daily inspections, field engineers ensure that plans are being properly executed. They are also required to monitor site progress to ensure schedules are being maintained. If problems arise, they need to have a thorough knowledge of concepts and procedures in order to quickly, and often times creatively, find a solution.
Inspector
These professionals may work at one site and follow construction from beginning to end, or travel from one site to the next and monitor progress at different stages. They must be knowledgeable of all zoning laws, community ordinances, and legal codes that are to be maintained by each facility type. If any inconsistencies occur, they must be capable of offering advice to contractors in order to clear any issues.
Land Acquisition
Once organizations establish the need for additional space to an existing facility, land acquisition specialists are used to research guidelines and costs, negotiate with land owners, and make purchases of short term leases that are necessary for the growing company. They are responsible for all legal activities such as title transfers, zoning, and deeds. They must prepare and present all legal documents as necessary.
Marketing Managers
These associates are primarily concerned with maintaining excellent customer relations, so they act as a liaison to the investors. They are responsible for ensuring customers are informed of progress, and understand all goals. Another primary duty is generating new leads with the use of creative and effective techniques.
Planner/Scheduler

President

Project Coordinator

Purchasing
In order to reduce costs while maintaining quality, purchasing agents are responsible for researching products before placing orders. They order necessary materials and equipment for each project to ensure delivery within the scheduled amount of time. A large amount of research and comparison shopping will be needed in order to keep costs low.
Quality Assurance Manager
To ensure quality products, these administrators design and implement adequate procedures and policies. They administer testing of products whether on or off site to guarantee safe and quality projects are being completed. Their responsibility is to assess specific aspects; therefore they must be knowledgeable in multiple areas of the construction field.
Quality Control Manger
Quality goods are an integral part of construction structures, and quality control managers assist with the creation of detailed standards that must be followed. They must have an immense knowledge of construction processes because they are generally called on to inspect many final products to ensure excellence. If failure is detected, they must be capable of advising on solutions.
Safety Director
A keen knowledge of all construction concepts is necessary for these associates. They direct safety programs in an attempt to reduce any hazards or injuries possible during and after the site’s construction. Safety Supervisor

Surveyor
Surveyors study land surfaces, take detailed measurements, and execute accurate tests, which are all necessary for any construction project. They are also needed to determine if sites are capable of supporting the structures that are to be built.

They may attempt building new products or procedures with efforts to increase quality or decrease costs. Associates must have an extensive education for these positions.
VP of Marketing
By carefully following and monitoring any changes in markets, these administrators must adjust company policies accordingly. They are responsible for directing and planning all aspects of marketing for their company. Extensive knowledge of all markets is necessary for company success.
