Job Title: Assistant Superintendent, LRT Track Company: New Jersey Transit Location: Bloomfield, NJ Description:   PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Manages maintenance, construction and inspection of the Newark Light Rail Infrastructure. Directs in-house forces and/or outside contractors in corrective actions to repair system defects. 2. Provides technical support for new systems improvements and component design, procurement and manufacture. Ensures maintenance is consistent with applicable safety and established standards. 3. Supervises construction, testing, start-up and operations of Newark Light Rail track and Infrastructure projects.
