Responsibilities: Responsible for producing AutoCAD plans and sketches for construction and maintenance projects in Antarctica. Keeps the CAD Supervisor and Tasking Engineer informed of the status of drafting activities. Keeps track of all drawings, current and archived in both electronic and hard copy. Accomplishes AutoCAD drafting of design drawings at the direction of the CAD Supervisor and Design Engineers, and accomplishes as-built drawings during and after construction utilizing the approved as-built procedure. Scans red-lined drawings for sending drawing change information back to DHQ. Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace program and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the work place. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS : High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum two years CAD drafting experience is required.
