We are looking for that candidate that excels in the area of SolidWorks. We have an opportunity for the right person to aid in the design of custom products for our top clients such as Starbucks, Mondavi Wine, Nordstom, etc. If you have a proven track record of accomplishment, dedication and reliability and a minimum of 3 years of CAD drafting/design experience this may be the position for you. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, creativity, enthusiasm, organization and confidence. Competency in AutoCAD, strong drafting skills and a minimum of an AA degree in CAD Design or equivalent experience are required. You must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. This position works both inside and outside of the office. You will have the opportunity to go to potential job sites and take measurements that are necessary to build the bills of materials. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, carry and climb ladders with a maximum requirement of 50 pounds. We are ISO 9001 certified. With that said, we follow guidelines and procedures in order to maintain this certification. You will learn these procedures in order to enable you to produce quality products that enhance Rainier's position in the industry. You should have your own vehicle and be able to provide us with proof of insurance.
