Job Title: CFO Company: Location: Richmond, VA Description: Leading local real estate development, construction and property management group, specializing in the conversion of historic structures into luxury multifamily housing, has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. Responsibilities: ? Manage the people and processes responsible for all accounting, monthly and annual reporting, auditing, financial controls, taxes, and compliance ? Develop and maintain strategic relationships with lending institutions ? Coordinate risk management needs and mitigate risk. ? Review and establish appropriate policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Requirements ? Proven experience with single/multifamily real estate including: construction, development and property management. ? Ability to work with and be a member of the senior management/ownership team in a proactive, results-driven manner ? NO 9 to 5er?s! ? Cost accounting, treasury, and risk management experience. ? Able to lead, motivate, and build a solid team with integrity and professionalism ? The position requires a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting or Finance. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing is preferred ? Track record of 7-10+ years of progressively increased and senior management financial responsibilities with closely held multiple companies. ? 4+ years of Controller level experience in an accounting and finance functions. ? Public Accounting experience is a plus ? Knowledge of state and federally subsidized rental housing programs ? Ability to work with multiple entities and lenders ?
