Position Description and Requirements: Growth-oriented commercial construction company is looking for a highly motivated, mid-level Project Manager, someone with 5 or more years of experience managing government construction projects in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have demonstrated skills in negotiating, coordinating and directing work of subcontractors; negotiating work with new and existing clients and developing strong working relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, clients and project supervisors. In addition, candidates must be proactive with prior Government contracting, reporting, estimating and oversight experience. Candidates should be well versed and experienced in Government construction project management policies and procedures required for GSA specific projects. Other requirements are the ability to organize and manage multiple projects effectively, to monitor cost controls, and to handle payment applications, proposals, change orders, and submittals. The successful candidate must be highly skilled in budgeting and scheduling with exceptionally strong skills in Word and Excel. Superior communication skills with clients and at all levels within the company, the ability to solve problems and dedication to customer satisfaction are essential.
