Job Title: Pipeline Construction Manager Company: URS Location: Carlsbad, NM Description: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven years experience in pipeline or facilities performing construction management or acting as the owner's representative. Requires excellent communication, organizational, supervision and interpersonal relation skills; ability to interpret all aspects of highly technical projects and strive for excellence. Construction management of project conception to completion and acceptance of project planning, contracts composition and administration, permitting, survey, construction inspection and integrity evaluation. Job Description : Coordinates detailed phases of construction work of a complex scope. Oversees work which involves conventional practices but includes a variety of moderate to complex features where judgment, discretion and multi-tasking are necessary. Work requires specialized and in depth knowledge of construction principles and practices.Responsible for supervision of administrative and project specific functions, up to and frequently including the full scope of project construction. Has budget, client relations and business development responsibilities. Plans and directs the activities of the project team. Prepares project time and cost estimates and forecasts to include manpower projections and requisitioning and purchasing of equipment.Position Duration is February 2010 through April 2010
