We are actively seeking a Commercial Construction Administrator to contribute to our Power Systems Division team at SunWize.

Responsibilities

• Review project, scope of work, and budget for commercial construction projects.
• Handle all commercial projects and site development information.
• Perform site observations during construction. • Provide information as requested by contractors.
• Keep the manager informed of project status and aware of potential problems or liability issues.
• Prepare a work schedule and time projections; as well as, coordinating the schedule and work with management and installers.
• Review contract documents with contractors, clarify and interpret contract documents and obtain information as required.
• Keep, update and issue reports regarding deficiencies in projects.
• Maintain records in an orderly manner.
• Collect data and review change orders with the Project Engineer.
• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for all construction projects.
• Review drawings and RFIs.
• Process all construction documentation.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in construction management of multiple-discipline construction project administration.
• BA or BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Ability to guide and lead complete construction efforts from estimating, administration management and scheduling skills.
• A personal commitment to a safe working environment.
• Strong computer application skills including MS Office Suite; Power Point, Excel and Word.
• Detail oriented, organized, with excellent communication skills.
• Periodic domestic and international travel may be required in support of sales and projects.
• A strong interest in the renewable energy field.
