FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR - GS 11-12 LEVEL This is a contract staffing assignment for an initial period of approximately five months plus two one-year options. You will work in the offices of a civilian Federal Government agency in Arlington, VA providing contract administration support in accord with the Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR, and agency acquisition requirements. There is a strong emphasis on construction and design-build contracting. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR HANDLING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS. Typical tasks include: · Ensure selected vendors are registered with the Central Contractor Registry for electronic payment. · Ensure selected contractors are not on the Excluded Parties List. · After an award is made, ensure that the Federal Procurement Data Systems (FPDS) report has been completed and that the award announcement for all recovery acquisitions has been posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). · Utilize the Interior Department Electronic Acquisition System (IDEAS) and the Federal Financial System for the gathering of data and reports. · Perform other duties in support of the operations of the agency. Requirements for the position include: · Federal Acquisition experience equivalent of a GS 11 or 12 Series 1102. · Current or prior FAC-C Level 2 or 3 certification · Knowledge of construction contracting with a preference for knowledge of design-build construction. · The ability to manage multiple, concurrent work streams with competing deadlines. · The ability to write, and verbally present subjects (in English) in a clear and concise manner. · Ability to travel nationwide for construction site visits and other meetings.
