Job Title: Senior Electrical Estimator Company: Location: Grand Rapids, MI Description: We are currently in search of an electrical estimator to support our growing operations located in the West Michigan area. This position will act as a senior level project manager within the estimating department and will be in charge of junior level estimators both in West Michigan and other branches located throughout the US. The projects we look at range from small to very large commercial, industrial, institutional and Multifamily construction. Our market is the entire United States. Duty's include but are not limited to the following: - Directing junior level estimators, including asigning tasks and establishing accountablility for those results. - Direct communications with program director, clients, vendors etc. - Coordination of quotes, subcontracts, expenses etc for each project. - Some actual takeoff functions may need to be performed by this position - Review of contract documents, specifications etc. - Entering completed takeoff forms generated by the junior estimators into estimating software to compile final pricing. Applicant must posses at least 5 years of actual estimating experience with experience in large projects a definite plus. Experience in ConEst or Accubid would be a benefit. For the right individual this is a position that could be performed from a home office as our entire estimating process is web based.
