Develops relationships with sub-contractors, and identify new subcontractors to meet the construction needs of the company. Originates and maintains current subcontractor qualification lists. Coordinates bids and obtains and analyzes bids on projects from subcontractors. Prepares accurate pricing of estimates, including labor, materials and subcontract items. Obtains adequate number of plans and specifications. Develops material cost information for specific project types. Provides other services such as change order pricing, attending pre-bid conferences and site visits. Interfaces with clients, owners, account executives and contractors to provide engineering and cost data.  Develop Conceptual estimates and performance specifications and scopes of work.Requirements: 3+ years experience in general contractor estimating experience as well as complete understanding of commercial construction and a Bachelors of Science in Construction Engineering/Management or related field of equivalent work experience. Estimating background in mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing is a plus.. Excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel) in addition to well developed budgeting, purchasing and organizational skills. Experience using Timberline and Prolog a plus.
