Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field. Travel is required less than 10% of the time. Knowledge of scheduling (software e.g.: Primavera) and project management systems, Word, Excel. Ability to read and provide value engineering comments on civil engineering drawings. Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local land development construction codes and regulations (e.g. OSHA, SWPPP/erosion control requirements, hazardous materials, construction standards, etc.). Knowledge of estimating, cost control, scheduling, and project management. Trained in basic hazardous materials awareness, recognition, proper handling, and disposal or abatement procedures. Posses excellent communication skills (written and oral); ability to multitask, positive team oriented attitude; detail oriented, ability to manage contractors (site, hazardous material and landscape) and be capable of handling customer service calls as needed and other duties as directed. Exposure to hazardous materials is possible (e.g. fuels, concrete, chemicals, demolition waste products, etc.). Experience Required: 10+ years experience in a combination of civil engineering design, community development construction management/supervision, surveying, land planning or architecture, site/heavy construction and estimating.
