Job Title: Lead Concrete/Construction Foreman Company: Location: Minneapolis, MN Description: Lead Foreman/Project Manager My client is a concrete/masonry, home improvement, and new construction company in the Twin Cities that?s currently seeking a professional, highly skilled and experienced Lead Foreman to oversee residential and commercial construction projects. This position requires very specific field skills and knowledge along with above average teaching, leadership and management abilities and experience. This is not a union position. This is a project manager/foreman position that requires you to put on your pouches and work in the field every day. You?ll also be responsible for overseeing equipment and ensuring safety measures are followed. Position Requirements: ? Minimum field experience of 15 years concrete finishing and block experience ? Minimum 10 years of supervising and leading a concrete field crew. ? Currently in the trades or most recent position. With the willingness to learn and build on existing knowledge and skills ? Skilled with various interior/exterior finishes ? Skilled at analyzing blue prints and project specifications ? Must be able to set up and finish various floor drain set-ups ? Knowledge and understanding of mix designs ? Must have Residential & Commercial experience ? Knowledge and capability with decorative surfaces, including acid staining ? Aptitude with various placing and finishing equipment and styles ? Significant experience with standard set-up and execution of exterior flat work ? Expects and accepts accountability and responsibility ? Desire to get better with every project and open to constructive recommendations You must have strong people and organizational skills, and positive attitude, allowing you to effectively deal with team members and customers, a professional demeanor, and a solid work history.
