Job Description: Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineering Planner whose primary duties will be to coordinate, generate and distribute planning products required for a complex operational system that is scheduled 24 hours per day/7 days per week (24x7). Responsibilities include developing and maintaining planning related products and the appropriate system-level documentation. The position requires interfacing with multiple internal and external groups to coordinate the inputs needed for producing planning products. The Planner will work alongside other planning team members in producing the daily planning products and helping to ensure the accuracy of planning products. Data entry and executing planning software programs is a major part of the job. The position is on a traditional work schedule, but the ability to work odd hours may be required. The planner must attend program operator training course. Required Skills: - Must have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or a related technical discipline or possess equivalent experience in lieu of a degree - Must have a minimum of 2+ years related experience in support of systems operations and production planning - Must have strong analytical skills demonstrated by one or more years of problem solving and troubleshooting of technical systems - Must have the ability to work effectively in a real-time operations environment and manage multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously - Must have the ability to perform successfully with frequent and direct interaction with customers - Must have the ability to respond effectively in instances of high urgency - Must be available to work non-traditional hours including overtime and weekends as needed Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.
