Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other documentation. Reviews, edits, updates and processes engineering change orders. Review drawings for errors prior to processing. Ensure manufacturing and/or production departments receive current and correct specifications for parts to be created. Create and maintain routers and work orders. Must be knowledgeable in requisition of hardware. Must be able familiar with material types used in fabrication of assembly and detail tooling. Must be knowledgeable with machining and standard machine practices. Organize, archive and maintain all documents. May interact with other internal departments and external customers. Other duties as assigned. Basic Requirements: Minimum education and experience required is Associate Degree in related discipline or professional license with 4-6 years experience. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in an aircraft environment. Must be able to walk for long distances to move from one work site to another. Must be able to work primarily with fingers such as typing. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, and small parts. Primarily an office environment. Position Summary:
Supervise the production of project design schedules.
Develop conceptual through final project schedule for all disciplines
in all groups. Perform value engineering and constructability
reviews. Provide support to clients in the research, review and
analysis of construction claims.
Supervises ; prepares
construction schedules for design projects by coordinating and
reviewing quantity takeoffs and pricing.
Reviews and comments on
estimates/schedules prepared by others
Evaluates project scope change
orders and negotiates settlement
Develops manpower loading and
provides corporate assistance. Develops manpower loading and provides

project schedules for complex transportation design ;
construction project schedules.
Performs or assists with
project constructability and value engineering
