Job Title: Instrument and Electrical Planner-Ohio - Engineering and Technical Assoc., Inc Company: Engineering And Technical Assoc., Inc Location: Lima, OH Description: Instrument and Electrical PlannerPre T/A• Lead in scope development of the Interment and Electrical Equipment, including support crafts required for:o Control Valveso Instrumentation itemso motor repairs/rebuildso cable replacements• Work with other planners to assure proper scope is captured for instrument items affected by piping and vessel work.• Lead development of bid packages and contractor selection for both field instrument and electrical work and shop control valve rebuilds. Options may include bid by rates, firm bid, or break-out contractor by equipment types so (1) contractor does not get overextended.• Provide a cost estimate and coordinate schedule with the Primavera Planner.• Coordinate with Engineering / Capital / Departments.T/A• Coordinate with the contractors the priority of the work.• Up-Date % complete per job step on the schedule including estimating AWR’s cost and schedule impact. • Coordinate Inspection and engineering support for discovery items.• Coordinate with the contractors to keep ahead of schedule and permits.• Monitor workload and manpower levels and adjust as required.Post T/A• Prepare final reports.• Participate in critique.Assignment will run till the end of 2010Hourly Per DiemVacationHoliday payOptional medical after 90 days
