The Senior Inspector is responsible for ensuring daily contract on compliance on complex construction projects, preparing documentation to support payment and project acceptance, and to function as a member of a team of 15 – 20 employees. As a Senior Inspector you will:
Monitor traffic control and project safety procedures and methods.
Inspect construction grades, materials and procedures.
Check survey stakes, grades, and alignment prior to placement of construction materials.
Ensure that all required tests are performed and documented.
Notify contractors for corrective action and follow-ups until inconsistency is resolved.
Prepare required documentation for assigned projects including: project photos, daily progress reports, paynotes, inspector’s estimates, force account/claim sheets, and writing technical reports and project semi- final narratives.
Coordinate all assigned phases of work between the project office and contractor.
Read, understand, and interpret contract documents for major and/or minor construction projects of all degrees of complexity.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation-related Engineering;
