REQUIREMENTS Experience - Four years experience in the design, construction and inspection of public construction projects. Three of the four years preferred with CDOT projects at a similar level. Training - Equivalent to two years of college or formal trade apprenticeship and/or specialized training in construction architecture, construction technology, civil engineering or a related field. License or Certificate- Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license. Completion of or ability to complete, State of Colorado Radiation Safety Officer Course. Possession of, or ability to obtain certification as an ACI Transportation Construction Inspector program, or the CRMCA Pavement Inspector program is acceptable. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Background Check: Must pass a criminal (CBI) background check. This position reports to a field office environment Monday - Friday, with hours of 8:00 - 4:30 and overtime as needed. Travel will be required throughout the regional assignment to attend meetings.
