Description:
Long term contract assignment for a Probabilistic Risk Analysis Circuit Analyst with experience in an operating nuclear plant. Requires experience with fire, mechanical, and electrical systems. This position is scheduled to last through December of this year.ResponsibilitiesRequires a strong technical background in engineeringMust have knowledge of nuclear power generating facilitiesResponsibilities include reading electrical one-line diagrams and elementary circuit schematics RequirementsRequires a BS degree in engineering or equivalentMust have knowledge of circuit elements (conductors, cables, transformers, AC-DC motors, AC power sources, DC power sources) Requires experience with circuit devices (relays, switches, solenoids, diodes) Requires experience with instrumentation (ammeter, voltmeter, flow, temperature, pressure, level – indication, transducer, converter) Requires experience with short circuit, open circuit, grounded and ungrounded circuits Requires experience with mechanical components (pumps, fans, heat exchangers, valves and actuators-motor,-air)Must be able to read piping and instrument drawings, cable raceway and conduit layout drawingsMust have good communication skills, be teachable, be able to work full time and use Microsoft Office tools, be mobile (walk down equipment and raceways at a nuclear power plantBenefitsPaid Vacation401KHealth Insurance, and more...Questions you will be asked: • This position requires a BS or higher degree.
