Job Title: Construction Project Manager Company: Hopkins Construction Inc Location: Bridgeville, DE Description: Hopkins Construction, Inc. is an infrastructure construction company based in Bridgeville, DE with a need for an experienced Project Manager.  The Project Manager plans, executes and finalizes projects within strict guidelines, deadlines and budgets, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of employees and subcontractors.  Responsibilities:Direct and Manage project development from beginning to endDevelop full scale plans and communications documents such as the project scope and goalsCoordinate project staff and provide direction and support to project teamQuality AssuranceManage project budgetCommunicate project expectations in a timely and clear fashionWith the estimator, plan resources and participants needed to achieve project goalsDraft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.Set and maintain project expectationsPlan and schedule project timelinesTrack project milestonesDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentationsDetermine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problemsProactively manage changes in scope, identify potential problems and devise contingency plansBuild and develop and business relationships vital to the projectReview completed projects and create recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful elementsRequirements:Proficient with project management software such as Timberline, Microsoft Project and PrimaveraExperience in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and WordStrong experience in Heavy Construction, solid waste, water and wastewater projectsKnowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project managementDirect work experience in project managementProven experience in strategic planning and risk managementProblem solving capabilitiesExperience in shifting priorities and multitaskingAbility to conform to a fast paced environmentExperience in problem solvingAbility to work with flexible schedules Strong written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment is crucialStress tolerance
