Job Title: Pipeline Inspector Company: DeSoto Gathering Company Location: Conway, AR Description: 1. Will assure proper environmental and regulatory compliance and reporting optimal construction activity performance and adhere to company policies and procedures.2. Ensure safe work practices are maintained and will provide for an effective teamwork between the office field personnel and contractors.3. A positive relationship will be maintained with all agencies and the public.4. The attendance and/or provision of required training, and the participating in special projects will be required.5. Will conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.6. Maintains daily operation of company vehicle.7. Monitors daily construction activities & provides direction to field personnel and contractors.8. Observes all work performed by contractors to ensure they are in accordance to company procedures.9. Maintain adequate records in clear and concise reports.10. Maintains communication with contractors, sub-contractors, landowners and assigned personnel.11. Outlines the general duties and responsibilities of all contractors and sub-contractors during all the operations of pipeline construction activities. Job Requirements: 1. Must be in good physical health and able to climb in/out of trenches, around and under pipe.2. Good vision to inspect welds, radio graphic film, drawings and other construction activity as necessary.3. Good understanding of pipeline construction specifications.4. Valid Driver's license.5. Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely.6. At least 3 - 10 years experience in construction, understanding the BMPs of building compressor stations, access roads and pipelines.7. Demonstrated onsite inspection skills.8. MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Access).9. Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and continuous process improvement skills.10. High School degree or equivalent.11. General welding knowledge and understanding of pipeline construction specifications.
