Also responsible for internal materials and ContractingDivision support including liaison with all client entities, State,County, City, third party Labs etc. Responsibilities:Monitor Hot Mix Asphalt and daily results.  Developeffective mix designs to meet cost and customer performance needs,maintaining all mix design information (i.e. IQAC, NDOT) to meetapproval schedules.  Coordinate with internal and external clients in order to determine their project requirements and ensure compliance.  Coordinatedaily with operations manager and asphalt plant supervisors in order todetermine testing priorities and ensure timely information from labsupervisors.  Management of assigned QC personnelto include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning,assigning and directing work; resolve employee relation issues andappraising performance.  Requirements/Experience:Bachelor’s degree or three to five years related experience, or equivalentcombination of education and experience.  Knowledgeable with NDOT’s Specifications Section 106.04 Samplesand Tests).  Ability to identify problems, gather and analyze information skillfully and make appropriate recommendations.  Proficientin excel, word and power point and the use of aggregate and asphalttesting equipment including but not limited to ignition and nuclearovens.  Strong communication skills; communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in written documents.  Must possess Current Driver’s License, certificates and registrations to support field and lab testing.  Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
