We offer competitive compensation and benefits and are searching for innovative people to join our team.   Tetra Tech EM Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech, is currently seeking an Asbestos Property Inspector (Environmental Scientist) to work in our Troy, MT location.   Primary responsibilities will be to assist with the Troy asbestos property evaluations (TAPE) inspections in Troy, Montana. Property inspections will include the collection of soil samples and detailed field logbook entries including sketches. This position interacts directly with the property owners. The position must be compliant with the site health and safety plan. Sites may be contaminated with asbestos or other solid wastes.   No formal experience required. An ideal candidate will have field work experience with environmental consulting firm.   Only candidates with a valid Montana Driver’s license will be considered. You must be able to conduct field soil sampling and attic inspections, including maneuvering in crawl spaces; moderate lifting and carrying tools and ladders (up to 25 pounds). To be successful in this position you must have good record keeping and site sketching skills, as wells as good verbal communication skills.   Current OSHA HAZWOPER certification required. High school diploma required. Associate or Bachelors degree would be a plus.   To apply, please submit your resume & cover letter online at www.tetratech.com/career and search for Job ID # EMI-HE-26.
