Flooring Operations Manager

Join our growing team as a Flooring Operations Manager and take on a key role in supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, scheduling and coordinating the activities of installers, overseeing the customer service department, and maintaining high standards of customer service. You will have the opportunity to perform field visits to customers' homes to address issues or concerns, recruit installers, provide training programs for installation crews, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Daily Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff
• Schedule and coordinate the activities of installers
• Perform job site visits to check for quality and to maintain customer relationships
• Oversee the customer service department and maintain high standards of customer service
• Perform field visits to customers' homes to address issues or concerns
• Recruit installers and provide training programs for installation crews
• Manage inventory and ensure products are adequately stocked
• Train new staff members and provide ongoing training for existing staff
• Communicate with upper management about any issues or improvements that need to be made
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Skills:

• Experience in managing staff and coordinating activities
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of the flooring industry
• Speak fluent Spanish
• Ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs
• Knowledge of inventory management
• Understanding of health and safety regulations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in the construction industry
• Knowledge of installation processes
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Technical skills in reading blueprints and performing takeoffs
• Experience with vendor and supplier relationships
