Your Role
As a Welder, you'll play an essential part in producing steel components that meet industry codes and customer specifications. You’ll work from detailed prints, perform quality welds, and help maintain a safe and productive shop environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and adjust welding machines and equipment based on material and job specs

  • Perform welds on steel components per ASME and API code requirements

  • Troubleshoot and repair welds as needed

  • Read and follow blueprints accurately

  • Operate grinders, overhead cranes, and hand/power tools

  • Complete all required documentation and reports accurately

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of your workspace

  • Support team members and follow company procedures and safety rules

  • Demonstrate regular, on-time attendance

  • Perform other duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Trade school or formal welding training preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of GMAW welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preffered

  • SMAW experience a plus

  • Must pass internal GMAW 3G DH weld certification under WPS

  • Ability to read welding symbols and tape measures accurately

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently

  • Committed to safety and maintaining confidentiality

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and lift/move up to 50 lbs (30 lbs for women)

  • Occasional work in confined spaces (e.g., inside pressure vessels)

  • Exposure to loud noise, indoor and outdoor conditions

  • Must follow all PPE and safety protocols
