The Estimator is a critical position in our Company; you are the first representative many of our customers interact with.  If you are passionate about estimating, and developing relationships with customers, and are looking for a role where you can have the most impact, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do:

• Reviews projects, determines scope of work to be completed and prepare estimates
• Reviews estimates and job scopes and prepares proper paperwork for project commencement
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers
• Maintains open communication with field foremen relative to scope of work and prepares change orders as required
• Communicates with management on any issues that may arise during scoping and estimating of project 
• Develops strategy with management on different business verticals

What You Will Bring:

• The ability to work as a team player with a diverse group of people 
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures
• The ability to read and understand project specifications, plans and blueprints
• Knowledge of construction including materials and methods needed to complete project successfully
• Prior related experience, preferably with a city or other civic municipality
• The ability to travel between bid sites and job sites
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Heavybid Estimating Software a plus
