Job Description
The Position: We are looking for a skilled tradesperson to perform maintenance, service, and repair work on various electrical systems for the Seattle Housing Authority.
This is a bargained position between Seattle Housing Authority the Seattle/King County Building Trades and IBEW Local 46
The Compensation: The pay rate is $51.45 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Install, modify, and upgrade new and existing electrical and electronic systems, component parts, and other related electrical equipment in commercial and residential properties
- Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment
- Drive work vehicle to various locations in the city in a safe and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Requirements:
- Proof of vaccination on first day of employment – Please read the Vaccination Policy (Download PDF reader) for a full understanding of what is required
- Washington State Journey level (EL01) Electrician or Master Journey level Electrician
- Completion of formal apprentice training, work experience as a maintenance, service, or construction electrician
- Valid Washington driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Basic computer skills, use email and other apps.
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to follow all safety procedures.
