Construction Project Engineer

Construction Project Engineer - Federal Projects Location: Austin, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience) Overview: A respected federal contractor is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support federal construction and landmark restoration projects. This role involves coordinating with project teams, managing construction activities, and ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, and budget requirements. K ey Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the construction process. Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking. Review design documents for constructability and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Help oversee daily site activities, ensure safety compliance, and support quality control efforts. Maintain clear communication and documentation across all project stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 3+ years of experience on federal construction projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore. Excellent communication and coordination skills. U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain an employer-sponsored government security clearance.
