Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in civil or structural engineering to lead and support projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning, design, and execution phases of projects. Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Design & Technical Review: Conduct feasibility studies, review engineering drawings, and prepare technical reports. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to refine project designs. Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors. Facilitate regular project meetings and prepare progress reports and meeting minutes. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company quality and safety standards. Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures when necessary. Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify potential project challenges early and propose innovative solutions. Adjust project plans in response to changes or unforeseen issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant project engineering experience in the civil/structural engineering sector. Any experience with design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM tools). Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and applicable codes/regulations. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
