AVIATION FACILITIES ELECTRICIAN (MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN) (JOB OPENING ID #521398)

Three full-time positions available with the Aviation Department, Facilities Structural Division, located at 947 Mexico City Avenue.
Normal Workdays/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities
Performs work in all phases of electrical maintenance including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage circuitry.
Repairs and rebuilds a variety of components and lighting fixtures associated with lighting in the KCI terminal buildings.
Operates heavy equipment used in the repair of directly buried circuitry.
Operates heavy snow removal equipment and will be required to clear snow during emergency snow removal events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRES high school graduation and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience performing routine and moderately complex electrical maintenance and repair work; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license in accordance with City of KCMO policies. May be required to possess a valid MO Class A, B, or C CDL prior to the end of the probationary period as determined by the department. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City.
