HVAC Service Technician Job Description The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting issues with cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration components. This role includes performing warranty services and emergency repairs to ensure optimal system performance. Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on A/C systems. Respond to emergency service calls, troubleshoot issues, and perform emergency repairs. Locate and diagnose A/C system deficiencies and malfunctions, prepare proposals to repair equipment, and complete repairs. Remove and install replacement A/C systems. Train junior members of the Service Department team. Work face-to-face with customers daily, communicating technical issues and recommendations using simple and understandable terms. Work safely and adhere to the company's safety program. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Experience in cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration components. Additional Skills & Qualifications Capability to perform warranty services and emergency repairs.
