What will you do?
As an Infrastructure - Hosting Expert at Swedish Match, you will belong to a global team with a mission to secure Swedish Match's communication needs. The network team is responsible for developing, operating, and enhancing IT infrastructure services: hosting, storage, database, on-prem and cloud network.
Your focus will be to troubleshoot and solve incidents and service requests. You will collaborate with the Service Desk and other Group IT competence teams.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- To resolve requests to infrastructure services and components
- Ensuring efficient and effective ways of working together with the Swedish Match Group IT Service Desk
- To operate and maintain reliable, secure, sustainable, and efficient hosting services
- Supporting lifecycle management and internal projects regarding hosting platform. (designing, planning and implementing new hosting services)
- Encourage the adoption of automation
- Participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in the role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience working with infrastructure, security awareness, server and network operations
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Experience in PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and/or other VDI/application hosting
- Experience in VMware and Hyper-V environments
- Experience in an Operational Technology (OT) environment is a merit
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
You should know the best practices for communicating with stakeholders. You are a team player who is curious by nature and likes to take initiative. You solve problems by having a holistic approach and seeing different perspectives before acting. You should be able to adapt to any unforeseen challenges that may arise.
