Press Brake Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Press Brake machines, including Amada, Cincinnati, and Trumpf, to facilitate sheet metal fabrication processes such as press brake, punch break, forming, and bending. The role involves machine operation, manufacturing, and production tasks. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines. Perform sheet metal fabrication, including forming and bending. Operate Press Brake, Punch Break, and other manufacturing machines. Utilize laser machines as needed. Read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders. Layout and load materials using basic math and hand-held measuring tools. Enter instructions into CNC systems, including setting tool registers and offsets. Maintain machines in good working order and perform re-work procedures. Understand finished product characteristics and ensure quality. Essential Skills 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high volume, fast-paced production environment. Experience in metalworking or hollow metal fabrication is preferred. Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Basic math skills and proficiency with measuring tools. Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and ability to utilize computer outputs. Ability to set up mills and lathes. Understanding of lock out/tag out procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Dexterity with manufacturing equipment and basic power tools. Ability to maintain machinery and ensure efficient operation.
