Metal/Wood/Art Fabricator

ABOUT US:
ARCANA is a small team of designers/builders working on a wide range of projects and client types from artists to designers to contractors as well as produce our own line of furniture products. Our facility in Williamsburg Brooklyn has full wood and metal capabilities. We are hiring for a lead metal & wood fabricator to join our ranks. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to grow with the company as we expand.

WHO WE ARE SEEKING:
Candidates must be able to:
- read/interpret drawings & measure
- be comfortable working with delicate items
- be organized, structured, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
- have an extreme attention to detail
- discern quality of parts and materials used in production
- offer and accept feedback
- manage time and prioritize to meet production deadlines

APPLICABLE EXPERIENCE/TRAITS:
+ Valid driver's license
+ OSHA Safety 30Hr or similar certification
+ Rhino/CAD/Solidworks experience
+ Electrical & Low Voltage lighting knowledge
+ General onsite familiarity a plus.
+ TIG/MIG welding experience

We are seeking applicants with experience with wood and/or metal fabrication or recent graduates from art/design programs and familiarity with shop tools. Applicants must have at least 3 years experience in similar environments.

COMPENSATION:
Pay commensurate with experience. We ask for a 1 month trial period to ensure a good fit for you and us.
