Safety Manager:
This an assignment for a 3 month project on a 13/1 schedule.
Monitors and trains employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Verifies compliance with health and safety regulations and ensures all necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Implements health and safety policies and procedures.
Trains employees on safety and health requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
Oversees field activities and monitors the environment for health and safety violations.
Enforces use of safety equipment.
Monitors emergency action plans.
Investigates accidents and prepares accident reports.
Identifies potential causes for accidents and recommends changes in policies and procedures to prevent accidents and illness.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
Completes projects in a timely manner.
Manages the participation in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures.
Acts as advisor to health and safety administration team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
