Estimator - General Contractor

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000/yr. (Depending on experience)

About the Role:

You'll prepare accurate, detailed hard bids across all trades, typically on projects around $1 million. This is a high-impact role working directly with project managers, owners, and subcontractors-often managing multiple bids simultaneously. You'll take ownership of your work from day one and play a key role in shaping the future of our estimating department, with the potential to grow into a Chief Estimator role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare hard bids and conceptual budgets for GC projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff and other tools
• Write professional proposals and bid packages
• Review drawings, specs, and scopes for accuracy
• Manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Support value engineering, cost analysis, and scope reviews
• Use Timberline, Procore, Excel, Outlook, and Word

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of estimating experience (GC background preferred)
• Self-starter who can begin producing immediately
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and time management skills
• Detail-oriented and eager to grow with a collaborative team
• Able to work on schematic budgets and conceptual estimates (we'll train you)
• Experience with Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, and scheduling tools a plus
