Machine Shop Support Job Description Join our team as a Ladder Washer in a dynamic paint shop environment. The position operates on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:00 PM. The role involves power washing ladders and parts, moving ladders, and performing similar duties to Paint Prepper. Responsibilities Power wash ladders and parts efficiently. Move ladders and other materials within the shop. Assist with paint prepping tasks such as cleaning and maneuvering raw materials. Use hand tools to deburr machined parts in the Deburr Associates role. Assemble ladders using basic hand tools, requiring entry-level carpentry skills. Essential Skills General mechanical knowledge. Experience with basic hand and power tools. Basic math skills. Strong work ethic with a team player attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a machine shop setting is desired. Experience working in a high-volume production setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment The manufacturing environment can be noisy at times. Dress casually in jeans and a t-shirt. The 1st shift operates from Monday to Friday, starting as early as 5:45 AM if preferred. The paint shop runs from 5:45 AM to 2:00 PM, and the ladder assembler shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The 2nd shift is from 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM. Ladder Assembly requires steel toe shoes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
