Job#: 2081741 Job Description: Senior Construction Project Manager Location: Hybrid in DC, Maryland or Northern Virginia Duration: Long-term rolling contract About the Role We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead construction and remodel projects for our clients retail locations across a designated region. This role involves managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee new store construction, remodels, and special projects Collaborate with internal teams (Real Estate, Operations, Program Management) and external partners (developers, architects, contractors) Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and documentation Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and resolve issues Represent CVS Health in meetings with city and state agencies Lead project closeout, including punch list completion and final documentation Project Lifecycle Involvement Define project scope and budget; direct architects and engineers Manage bidding process, contractor selection, and contract execution Coordinate with internal departments for seamless project delivery Oversee construction activities, site visits, and milestone reviews Ensure timely delivery of materials, graphics, and technology Maintain project schedules and documentation in MS Project and internal systems Lead final walkthroughs and ensure all closeout procedures are completed Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5-8 years of relevant experience in construction project management Strong understanding of design, construction standards, and cost management Proven ability to manage large budgets and cross-functional teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities Additional Information Travel may be required; reimbursed per client travel policy Experience with vendor management, permitting, and ADA compliance is beneficial EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
