Essential Functions
-Emergency and routine repairs are responded to within department timeframes and meet regulatory requirements to ensure safety
-Mechanical equipment is operated and maintained in safe and serviceable condition
-Lights and nurse call lights are replaced, beds and other patient equipment are repaired ensuring safety, temperature control devices are adjusted, sinks and toilets are maintained in working order and other repairs are completed per established guidelines
-Painting services are completed per established guidelines
-Documentation reflects repairs, replacement parts, and adjustments as per department and regulatory guidelines
-Preventative maintenance program is established and maintained per established timeframes and OSHA requirements
-Safety equipment and tools are readily available and in working order
-Assistance is provided to the various trades in the installation, maintenance or basic repair of equipment, piping, electric, HVAC systems, and various other duties per department standards
