Survey Crew Chief
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead our field-based survey operations in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient land surveying practices, utilizing your expertise in various survey types and equipment. You will receive a company truck for travel within the designated areas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property/boundary surveys with precision.
- Perform ALTA surveys and topographic surveys efficiently.
- Execute residential and commercial construction stakeouts.
- Utilize Terra model software for survey modeling.
- Lead utility surveys and construction surveys as needed.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.
- Strong knowledge of property and boundary surveys.
- Proficiency in ALTA surveys and topographic surveys.
- Experience in residential and commercial construction stakeout.
- Knowledge of Terra model software.
- Surveyor in training certification.

- Capability to work independently and lead a survey crew.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role where you will be on the road, primarily working in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. You will be provided with a company truck for travel. The role demands adaptability and comfort with outdoor working conditions, ensuring the accurate completion of survey tasks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
