Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to support the energy storage team by acting as a liaison between the team and their vendors. This role involves file and document management, data coordination, team scheduling, preparing and planning meetings with internal stakeholders, providing communication and logistics support, project tracking, administrative support, and facilitating continuous improvement. You will also support ad-hoc tasks related to permitting, interconnection, financing, and other development functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage files and documents efficiently.
- Coordinate data entry and ensure accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with stakeholders from various departments such as accounting, engineering, marketing, and executive leadership.
- Provide communication and logistics support to the team.
- Track project progress and offer administrative support.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement within processes.
- Support tasks related to permitting, interconnection, financing, and development functions.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and file management.
- Experience in scheduling and coordinating meetings.
- Ability to track payables and manage invoicing.
- Proficiency in supporting calendaring and meetings.
- Experience with expense reports.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, Box, and AI technologies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in roles such as executive assistant, business development, sales coordination, or project analysis ideally within a business-to-business environment.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness.
- Experience in understanding processes and creating repeatable tasks.
- Experience in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to create and send agendas before meetings.
- Experience in documenting meetings and taking notes.
- Experience supporting projects and tasks efficiently.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills across departments.
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, electrical systems, and energy markets is helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial leasing, power purchase agreements, distributed solar, battery storage, EV, and general renewable energy is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in customer interactions.
Work Environment
The position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on interest. The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States. Flexibility to work Mountain Time or Pacific Time hours is important. You will be part of the energy storage team, reporting to the head of the team while also supporting other developers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
