Our contracting business is expanding and we need a skilled painter who can also repair drywall!
We are looking for a full-time painter / drywall repair person to join our team. Our painting jobs are usually single rooms, doors, facia or decks. Our drywall jobs are usually repairs from previous plumbing and electrical work and include texturing. Sometimes we may do a full wall, but never a whole house.
Qualifications
Painting - Must be experienced with indoor and outdoor brush and roller work, spraying, latex and oil based, staining of decks, doors, molding and trim, etc.
Drywall - Experienced in hanging new drywall, mud, sand and match texture if needed. Must know multiple styles of texturing.
Own tools and transportation. We will supply consumable supplies such as pans, rollers, drop cloths, etc.
Customer Service Focus - Good customer skills are just as important as good trade skills
Communication Skills - Must be relatively fluent in English and be able to communicate easily with people who's only language is English. Spanish language is helpful, but not necessary. Must be comfortable using a mobile app on your phone and writing customer notes in English.
Ability to pass both a drug test and a background check.

Job is Monday through Friday 8 to 5. No weekends unless you want them.
90% of our work is in Point Loma and Ocean Beach, so there is very little driving once your day starts.
